Two top education brands under one roof
With the acquisition of Hernstein in 2023, FHWien der WKW, Austria’s leading University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication, has further expanded its continuing education program.
We now offer open programs for professionals and executives as well as tailor-made continuing education courses for companies, enabling them to climb the next rung of their career ladder and develop their management and leadership skills.
Study real business: In accordance with this principle, we at FHWien der WKW have been cultivating a lively exchange with business for 30 years. Two thirds of our more than 1,000 teachers have a background in business. As specialists and managers, they always have their finger on the pulse of the times, are familiar with current challenges and contribute their knowledge and experience to the competence development of more than 2,800 students. In addition, a variety of practical projects with various companies as well as mandatory internships complement our curricula.
In 2024 we celebrate eventful 30 years of FHWien der WKW with joy and pride. When FHWien der WKW was founded in 1994 as one of the first universities of applied sciences in Austria, it began with the ambitious intention of providing students with the best possible professional support as a reliable partner. At the same time, the economy and the location of Vienna were to be strengthened by competent and responsibly trained people. We have remained true to these intentions to this day.
