With about 80 participants, the 6th Gastronomy Founder’s Day was a complete success. The annual event offers a platform for the exchange of knowledge and for discussions about obstacles and challenges, when founding a gastronomy business.
Peter Dobcak, chamber of commerce Vienna, discussed critical moments during the start-up process of gastronomy businesses. Mag. (FH) Manuela Renner highlighted the importance of an excellent business plan and DDI Elisabeth Buchinger discussed the role of multisensory impressions in restaurants.
Finally, the founders Karim Abad, B.A., management and founding member of Café “HANA”, Tobi Müller, founder and managing director of “Mochi”, the “Mochi Ramen Bar”, and the “O.M.K. Deli and take away” and Karoline Winkler, B.A., management of the restaurant “Landtmann – Das Bootshaus” discussed about their experiences.
From the ideal location, through the best way to finance a start up, to the balance between self-employment and family life, many exciting questions were discussed.
We thank all participants for the successful event!
