Finally the nomination period is over and in the last weeks we have received seven impressive applications for the “Alumna/Alumnus of the Year” award. The candidates were either nominated by their former study program or applied for the award themselves.
Our jury will soon select the three finalists and the guests can vote for their favourite at the online award ceremony on September 24, 2020.
The jury consists of:

- Beate Huber, Head of Academic Affairs / Chair of the Academic Board / Head of Department of Management at FHWien der WKW
- Johanna Mayr, Head of Brand and Communications at karriere.at
- Sandra Baierl, Head of Department JOB & Business, IMMO, Mobility at KURIER
- Jan Pöltner, founder & managing director of 1000things GmbH and Alumnus of the Year 2019

Luigi Barbaro completed his Master’s degree in “Leadership in Tourism & Hospitality” and subsequently joined his parents’ business, where he now successfully runs several catering businesses as General Manager & Partner. |

Patrick Batka completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management & Entrepreneurship. He works as Financial Sales & Development Analyst at FITINN Sportstudio Group and passes on his experience as a lecturer to our students. |

Nicola Filzmoser completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Management and took the step into self-employment in Great Britain with her company Happyr Health to help children with migraines with a playful app. |

Michael Klinger is an alumnus of the Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management. He is not only managing director of his company KLINGER Immobilien GmbH and court expert, but also mentor and lecturer at FHWien der WKW. |

Gunter Schaller-Kulcsár graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management and was engaged as a course spokesperson and member of the Erasmus team. He also works for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra as cashier and commercial director. |

Günter Stöffelbauer completed his studies in “Corporate Communication” at FHWien der WKW. After various career stages at L’Oréal, he founded his own company in 2015, with which he develops and internationally markets dieNikolai organic grape cosmetics from Austria. |

LeiLei Wen is a graduate of the International MBA in Management & Communications. Prior to her studies at FHWien der WKW, she worked for Volkswagen Group China as Public Relation & Communications Manager of Internal Communications/Corporate Communications. |
