Barbara Covarrubias and Christina Schweiger were delighted about the invitation to give a keynote speech at the Leadership Circle in the Merkur Academy.
The Leadership Circle, organized by ViAcademy, was themed “Flexibility – a paradigm of our world? Flexible working conditions and working hours” and took place on June 7, 2018 in the Merkur Academy in Vienna.
Background: Flexibility as a desired competence is increasingly found in qualification requirements for management and key personnel. The so-called “flexible working” allows us on the one hand more freedom in dealing with working hours, presence or project tasks. On the other hand however, we also face challenges, above all the desired ability to constantly adapt to frequently changing situations and the demands of a continuous development process.
The afternoon was started by Mag. Markus Wachter (Head of Human Resource Management of Merkur) with an talk about the challenges of flexibility in the retail industry. Afterwards Barbara Covarrubias and Christina Schweiger, experts in the field of leadership, change and new ways of working, presented important aspects of leadership work and gave many impulses for an intensive exchange of experiences in the subsequent “Pro-Action Cafés”.
Are you interested in the exchange on the topics Leadership, Change and / or New Working Worlds? Then we are looking forward to you getting in touch:
