On January 30, 2025, the book presentation of Kotler’s Essentials of Modern Marketing took place with marketing insights and networking at FHWien der WKW.
At the end of January, FHWien der WKW hosted the official book presentation of “Essentials of Modern Marketing. Edition Austria, Switzerland & Liechtenstein” by co-authors Birgit Anna Reischl (graduate and lecturer at FHWien der WKW) and Julia Schlader – an inspiring evening with over 100 guests, exciting insights and top-class live panels. The event was also co-organized by Marketing Club Österreich and Österreichischen Marketinggesellschaft. A special highlight was the video message from Prof. Philip Kotler.
First regionalized Kotler book for Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein
For the first edition with regional case studies from Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, our Communication Management study programs also designed a case study for sustainability communication at FHWien der WKW, which was written by Melanie Gratzer, Academic Expert & Lecturer and Coordinator Marketing Communications, and David Dobrowsky, Head of the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication.
In addition to sustainability, the book also presents successful examples from various marketing topics such as branding and brand management, digital marketing, marketing strategy and customer segmentation, product development and positioning as well as socialpreneurship. In addition to FHWien der WKW, the case studies include well-known national brands such as Ankerbrot, Casinos Austria, Pagro, NÖM, Ottakringer Brauerei, ÖBB and Wien Energie.
