This summer semester a very special challenge awaited 90 students of the Bachelor’s program in Management & Entrepreneurship in the 6th semester. They faced strategic tasks of the Austrian Red Cross – more precisely the Austrian Youth Red Cross – within the framework of a course.
In February, students were divided into two teams and then subteams and there was an introduction to the Red Cross organization and the tasks at the beginning, followed by a Q&A session where students could ask the principal questions. In March and April, the tasks were eagerly worked on in the individual groups and then it was finally time …
On April 27, 2022 the final event of the cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross and the Austrian Youth Red Cross took place. The subteams of students of the 6th semester competed against each other and the jury from the ÖRK or ÖRJK chose the winners live by an online-tool. This mission was a big challenge for everyone but the results were excellent. Thanks to all participants from FHWien der WKW as well as ÖRK and ÖJRK for this unforgettable event.
