The majority of Austrian companies are already working intensively on the topic of digitalization and automation. Students from the degree program “Finance, Accounting & Taxation” had the opportunity to gain insights into the current developments in this dynamic field.
An informative guest lecture by Deloitte on the subject of “Digitalization in Accounting” showed us which classical accounting processes can already be automated and where the journey will take us in the long term. In the course of the guest lecture it was again underlined how important a professionally sound education is and how new and exciting fields of activity will continue to arise for FIRST graduates due to digitalization.
