Our graduates Viktoria Weigelhofer (BA Corporate Communication) and Patrizia Muschett (MA Marketing & Sales Management) took the excellent 2nd place for their theses in the edcom Thesis Competition 2018-19. The awards were handed over by Sieglinde Martin, Head of Department of Communication, at FHWien der WKW. Congratulations!
The two graduates dealt intensively with the topic of advertising impact:
- In her Bachelor’s thesis, Viktoria Weigelhofer demonstrated the positive effect of product placements on TV in comparison to TV commercials.
- In the Master’s thesis written by Patrizia Muschett, the results of the study show that emotional advertising has a more positive effect than a rational approach, even with benefit-oriented products.
