FHWien der WKW is among the top universities of applied sciences for its high practical relevance and its “contact to work environment” – as reported in the renowned U-Multirank university ranking.
In the international university ranking U-Multirank, which was initiated by the European Commission and in which almost 1,800 universities worldwide took part, FHWien der WKW made it to the top twenty-five in the world in the category “Contact to work environment”.
By being included in the “top 25 performing universities” in the category “Contact to work environment”, U-Multirank has given FHWien der WKW an excellent testimony to its high practical relevance. “This top position in an independent ranking proves that we are keeping our promise to prepare our students for the working world in the best possible way,” says Michael Heritsch, CEO of FHWien der WKW. “Our University of Applied Sciences has been cooperating closely with established companies for many years. In numerous practical projects for them, our students establish contacts with potential employers already during their education, which makes it easier for them to start their careers,” adds Heritsch.
