On May 17, 2022 the long prepared presentation of the group work from our students of the Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting and Taxation of FHWien der WKW took place in the large event hall of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG. The Financial Management Study Programs of our university of applied sciences was represented by Dr. Thomas Kaufmann-Lerchl, Head of Program, and Mag. Markus König. The four student teams held exciting presentations in front of the assembled risk managers of RLB with CEO Mag. Michael Rab, Division Manager Mag. Oliver Schmölzer, Department Manager Mag. Herbert Radl, Department Manager Mag. Nataša Alber and the HR team of RLB under Dr. Thomas Holzer.
The students had worked on selected topics of risk management in the course of Prof. (FH) Dr. Donald Baillie over the course of the semester. The focus was on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and the dependence on Russian gas. The results were more than presentable. The presentation was followed by a technical discussion. Drinks were provided. Congratulations to all students and many thanks to RLB for the invitation and hospitality!
