The Master students on the Real Estate Management Study Program started the semester with an exciting business field project with real estate developer GR Real. The aim of the project is to evaluate two real estate properties located in the Vienna districts of Landstraße and Hietzing.
In order to get a comprehensive picture of the properties, the students visited the two properties on site. The visits not only gave them the opportunity to analyze the structural conditions and the surroundings, but also to gain initial impressions of the properties’ market potential and challenges. Both districts have different requirements for the valuation and marketing of real estate – an ideal starting point for practice-oriented learning.
Real business cases
The students are now faced with the task of carrying out a well-founded market value assessment of the properties. The collaboration with GR Real offers the students a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-life context. The company, known for its experience with historic buildings and sustainable real estate development, brings valuable expertise to the project.
Next steps in the project
In the upcoming months, the students will deepen their analyses and develop initial concepts for evaluating the properties. The conclusion of the project will be crowned by a presentation of their results, in which they will present their ideas to GR Real.
