Getting to know each other on a city walk

July 10, 2024

The new semester hasn’t even started yet, but the new Real Estate Management students have already got to know each other.

During a city walk through the inner city, Dr Richard Fritze, an expert in monument conservation and building technology, gave an insight into the architectural development of Vienna’s old town. Almost 40 first-year students accepted the invitation to this city walk and were thus able to get an idea of their studies before they start in autumn. After all, the Real Estate Management degree program is all about regular site visits and excursions.

From Schottengasse, the route went via Mölkerbastei to the Hofburg and Michaelerplatz. Here there was a lively discussion about the remodeling of the square. The tour ended with a group photo at Josefsplatz.

Thanks to Dr Richard Fritze for the entertaining and amusing tour, which made us aware of Vienna’s development once again.
