Two Master’s theses from the Communications Management degree program were awarded the Franz Bogner Science Prize for PR 2023.
On June 12, 2023, the award ceremony of the Franz Bogner Science Award for PR 2023 took place in the event hall of Schoellerbank. Two Master’s theses from the Communication Management degree program were honored in the category “Master’s theses at universities of applied sciences”.
Clara Kaindel received 1st prize for her paper “The role of PR agencies and advertising agencies in integrated communication. A qualitative study: effects of the convergence of communication disciplines (PR and advertising) on the role of agencies”.
The work was supervised by University of Applied Sciences professor and communications expert Sieglinde Martin, Head of Department of Communication as well as Head of Communication Management Study Programs at FHWien der WKW.
Jessica Brandner was awarded 2nd prize for her thesis “Public Relations 3.0. The Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Present and Future PR Practice”.
Uta Rußmann, University professor and chair of the PR Ethics Council, supervised her.
