In their engaging guest lecture on the practice of company valuation, Christian Hickel, Senior Manager – Valuation & Modelling, Financial Restructuring and Stefan Seitweger, Valuation & Modelling at management consultants Deloitte, gave students on the ‘Business Valuation’ course of the Master’s program in Financial Management & Controlling an insight into the daily valuation practice of companies in mid-May. The most important valuation approaches were discussed, from multiple methods to DCF models.
The students also had to work on real business cases. This allowed them to use their learned knowledge and skills firsthand in real cases.
