How does employee engagement work? Final of the case study with Magenta

The new year started with a highlight for the students of the Master’s program in Organizational & Human Resources Development: They presented their solutions and ideas for increasing employee engagement at Magenta Telekom’s headquarters.

“Think Big” – was the motto of the clients Lilian Teuffenbach, Head of People Development & Culture, and Heike Jegel, HR Expert, at Magenta Telekom. What benefits for employees are needed for more employee engagement? How can employers best promote employee engagement? Generation Z in particular should be scrutinised.

36 students in six teams set themselves this task and started with a comprehensive analysis in the form of literature research, interviews and focus groups. From this, they developed programs and implementation ideas with which Magenta can best support its employees in developing their potential.

We are very enthusiastic about the colourful bouquet of creative ideas that the students have developed and presented. We are now looking forward to bringing some of the recommended measures to life and integrating them into the Magenta world,” says Lilian Teuffenbach, Head of People Development & Culture Magenta.

The students were accompanied and supported throughout the semester by experienced coaches Stefan Teufl and Brigitte Hampel.
