Themed “HRO yesterday, today, the day after tomorrow”, FHWien der WKW’s Human Resources & Organization Study Programs invited its graduates to the Alumni Afternoon 2023 on November 24. Whether they graduated several months or several years ago, entering the building and seeing their colleagues again brought back nostalgic memories.
To kick off the event, FH-Prof. Dr. Christina Schweiger, Head of Human Resources & Organization Study Programs, presented what has happened at the university of applied sciences in recent months and what will continue to happen. The focus was on three contributions from graduates of the Bachelor’s program in Human Resources Management and the Master’s program in Organizational and Human Resources Development: Katharina Retter, Nico Lind and Lena Pösl provided insights into the topics that are currently part of their everyday working lives and the trends that they believe will continue to occupy them in the future.
Trend talk in HR
It became clear that, among other things, the network established during their studies was and is paving the way for their future careers. Their contributions were rounded off with results from trend studies and assessments by the participants. Their forecast: “Digitalization & AI“, “Retention management” and “New work & new forms of organization” will be some of the most important topics in the HR industry until 2030.
The welcome reunion was rounded off with snapshots in the photo box and conversations at the buffet.
