Task & Goal

The event challenged participants to develop innovative solutions aimed at attracting a male audience to L’Oréal products, focusing on product enhancement, technological advancement and sustainability.

Support from industry experts

The development of this joint project required significant time and effort, but the results surpassed expectations. The first session, led by Giulia Graziano from L’Oréal, introduced the challenge, guiding students to refine their approach to engaging a male demographic. In the second session, students worked in teams, assessing each other’s ideas using a checklist, and offering constructive feedback for improvement. Each group then submitted a 3-minute pitch video showcasing their concepts, which were evaluated by L’Oréal experts.

Following this evaluation, eight teams were selected for the final presentation on March 19, 2025 where they presented their refined ideas to Andrea and Christopher from the L’Oréal Vienna office, who not only contributed their expertise but also brought thoughtful gifts for the participants. The presentations demonstrated creativity, strategic depth and a strong grasp of portfolio management principles. The best projects were recognized, and students received invaluable feedback to refine their ideas further.

All three sessions were conducted under the careful guidance and oversight of Diana Muslimova, ensuring the students’ continuous development and support throughout the process. This collaboration with L’Oréal served as an exemplary fusion of academic rigor and business practice, providing students with a practical learning experience while honing essential skills for their future careers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Martina Zöbl for her instrumental role in facilitating this remarkable collaboration. The event left an enduring impact on the students, inspiring them to continue their innovative pursuits in their professional journeys.
