On October 10, students and alumni from FHWien der WKW were able to gain insight into an internationally successful company – DO&CO, who was a guest at the Alumni&Co Business Insights.
The participants not only learned astonishing and surprising things about the big player in gourmet entertainment, which has remained a family business ever since it was founded and despite its steady growth. Sandra Grüneis-Wasner, an expert for Recruiting & Employer Branding at DO&CO, gave valuable tips and tricks on the subject of applications and careers in a national and international environment.
The examples of Gerhard Summer and Tanja Ilic showed that graduates and students from FHWien der WKW are welcome at DO&CO as employees. Summer began his service career 12 years ago and is now managing director of DO&CO Airport Hospitality GmbH. He also studied Management & Entrepreneurship at FHWien der WKW. He was able to report first-hand on the compatibility of study and career. Tanja Ilic has also been with the company for several years and has now started studying Tourism Management at FHWien der WKW.
During the networking afterwards the guests exchanged further reports about experiences abroad as well as tips for paving an international career.
