How can “International HRM” be taught and learned in a gainful way? The answer provides a successful cooperation between “FHWien der WKW” and “The Hague University of Applied Sciences”.
In the past semester, students from the Netherlands worked together with students from the programs “Human Resources & Organization” and “Management & Entrepreneurship” on practice-oriented case studies. The focus was on the topic of International Human Resource Management, which was examined from different perspectives: In addition to theory-based content, challenging cases were worked on in virtual teams and internationally operating companies and institutions were visited during exchange weeks.
In the context of the Vienna Project Week a Special TeleTeaTime at Tele Haase Steuergeräte, a tour of the Erste Campus as well as a tour and speech at the United Nations in Vienna took place. Among the highlights of the visit in The Hague were the “International Criminal Court” and valuable inputs on sustainable entrepreneurship at the orchid producer “Ter Laak”.
Mag.a Christine Güttel and Dr.in Barbara Covarrubias Venegas were very pleased about the international networking and the valuable cooperation with all participating institutions.
