On March 21, 2022 Kambis Kohansal Vajargah, lecturer at FHWien der WKW and Head of Startup-Services of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), gave a lecture as part of the lecture series “Trends in Management and Business” in the specialization Digital Innovation.
About 100 students in the Bachelor’s program Management & Entrepreneurship were able to benefit from his experience as an entrepreneur (with companies such as whatchado, Saturo, Carployee, Freebiebox, ALVERI etc.). Besides success factors of digital business models, the students also discussed how to attract investors for start-ups.
Eventually, Kambis Kohansal Vajargah gave insights into the services of the WKO for start-ups as well as current topics of the start-up community in Austria such as a more flexible legal form and facilitated employee participation.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to have experts like Kambis as a speaker and lecturer, as it’s not only a great chance to get valuable input, but also to network in this field”, one student summed up the benefits of this lecture for herself.
