On November 19, 2020, the Career Day of the FHWien der WKW went online for the first time.
The qualifications and experience of the students and graduates at FHWien der WKW are particularly sought-after by HR experts. For this reason, 14 renowned companies used this year’s Online Career Day to recruit the best-trained talents for their internships, as well as for part-time and full-time positions.
Already in advance to the event, students and alumni were able to prepare themselves optimally for the meeting with company representatives during the warm-up with a CV check and an application photo shoot.
On November 19, around 200 online initial interviews were conducted throughout the day between students, alumni and the recruiters, and the companies provided insights into their working world during 27 company pitches.
The topics ranged from internship opportunities and company insights to further development opportunities and benefits offered within the companies. Various interactive elements such as raffles, quizzes and interviews created a stimulating atmosphere in the pitches.
The virtual setting did not detract from the personal encounters and exciting discussions.
Both students and graduates took the chance to meet the company representatives personally and to establish lasting professional contacts.
