Students of the Bachelor’s program in Management & Entrepreneurship worked on a current assignment on the topic of „Opportunities and/or challenges of new worlds of work” for MAN Truck & Bus Austria.
Within the scope of a practical project in the specialization areas Human Resources Management and Product Management, in the 6th semester of the Bachelor’s program in Management & Entrepreneurship, our long-standing cooperation partner MAN Truck & Bus Austria assigned the students to an exciting task. The 23 students worked on this project, called „New worlds of work and corporate communication for MAN Truck & Bus Austria“.
MAN Truck & Bus Austria is currently confronted with numerous changes of disruptive nature. Driven by megatrends, new shifts in the fields of society and economics are emerging. As a consequence, it is of great importance for MAN Truck & Bus to identify these trends as well as their implications, in order to be prepared for the future.
Based on a well-grounded scientific elaboration of all concepts and terms related to „new worlds and methods of work”, the project group analyzed best practice examples, from which practical recommendations for the client were derived in a highly agile and independent manner.
„From my perspective, the project outcomes were very valuable both in terms of content as well as on an interpersonal level. The students demonstrated courage to take decisions autonomously and to formulate coherent arguments. Overall, this was a highly professional and successful project“, says Dr. Mario Partl (Head of Own Retail at MAN Truck & Bus Austria).
