On our most recent Alumni-Tuesday on February 6th, 2018 our members got the opportunity to see behind the scenes of weXelerate, one of Europe’s largest startup hubs.
After a warm welcome by Sweta Sharma (Marketing & Communications), who completed her studies at FHWien der WKW (Marketing & Sales), and by her colleague Nikolaus Wageneder (Innovation Manager), the participants were taught about the complexity of the innovation ecosystem.
WeXelerate connects companies with startups from around the world to jointly develop services, reach new markets and connect investors and multipliers in one place.
Companies can outsource accelerator programs to the startup hub instead of setting them up in-house.
The focus is set on the four-month accelerator program, which is available to startups from a wide range of countries and from the sectors of Media, Insurance, Industry 4.0, Energy, Banking and Infrastructure.
After the theoretical part, the participants were excited about the office tour through the almost 9.000 square meter building. The look behind the individual workspaces and the following „Brutkasten“ Meetup event rounded out our exciting evening.
The participants got to know the team of weXelerate as authentic, creative and very committed people. We thank weXelerate for this unique evening. Until next time!
