Following an intensive preparation process, a comprehensive hearing was held with the Head of Program Dr Klemens Braunisch MRICS and Academic Expert DI Carmen Dilch MSc MRICS, lecturers and students from the Real Estate Management study programs. During this hearing, not only were the contents of the study program and practical activities (project visits in Austria and abroad, exchange with international universities) discussed, but Bachelor’s and Master’s theses were also presented, and opinions were obtained from lecturers and students. The RICS panel particularly emphasized the quality of the training and the practical approaches, projects and activities in the real estate sector.

Accreditation of Real Estate Management degree programs confirmed until 2030

Following the hearing, FHWien der WKW was informed that the team of experts would recommend to the RICS Educational Board that the two Real Estate Management degree programs be reaccredited until 2030. The official accreditation has now been granted and opens numerous advantages for students: they have direct access to the global RICS network as well as valuable information and resources.
