Ruth Eisenreich awarded with the Silberne MedienLÖWIN

The evening before the 20^th Austrian Journalism Congress, on November 6, 2018, the award MedienLÖWINNEN was awarded to journalists for their exceptional work. This year Ruth Eisenreich, MA graduate „Journalism & New Media“ of FHWien der WKW, won the award Silberne MedienLÖWIN for her text „Die Männinen“, which was published in the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

In her text Ruth Eisenreich tells the story of Albanian women who live as men. An exciting portrait about women living according to the ancient rules of a strict patriarchy. The award Silberne MedienLÖWIN is awarded to texts which critically deal with topics about women and society.
