Kirstie Riedl, Academic Coordinator at FHWien der WKW, visited our three students on Aruba, who are currently spending their semester abroad there with the help of Erasmus+.
FHWien der WKW has a new Erasmus+ partnership with the University of Aruba and three lucky students from the Department of Communication are currently spending their semester abroad there.
Kirstie Riedl, Academic Coordinator, was also there last week enjoying teaching mobility, checking out the university and catching up with the students. The university is small, so everybody knows everybody and the local students are going out of their way to welcome the international students.
Our students Carolin, Anja and Martina told Kirstie that there have so much on offer in their spare time they don’t know what to do first. That is beside going to classes and the beach! Although living is expensive in Aruba, the students are entitled to a monthly Erasmus+ mobility grant which is a real help. Kirstie taught them last week in the classes “Consumer Behavior”, “Marketing Strategy” and “International Marketing” and confirms that the courses offered here are an ideal match for our students.
Thanks to FHWien der WKW, the University of Aruba and Erasmus+ for making this possible.
