At the it&t business Future Talk, Ann-Christine Schulz from the Institute for Digital Transformation and Strategy (IDS) discussed the topic with other leading digital experts from science and business.
Digital transformation is not just about technology. Strategic considerations and business benefits should be at the center of digital transformation projects. In the roundtable discussion, the head of the research project “Organizational Ambidextry in SMEs“ provided initial insights into how digital transformation can succeed in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Since April 2022, the research project, funded by the City of Vienna (MA23), has been studying the question: “How do companies find the balance between innovation and efficiency to master the digital transformation?”

In the context of a Strategy Morning “Digital Capabilities in Austrian SMEs” on Friday, September 15, 2023, the project team will present the first concrete results as well as recommendations for action derived from them. During the morning, Martin Eicher from Ottakringer Brewery will provide exciting insights into corporate practice in the introduction of digital products.
