Corporate Communication students developed creative ideas to promote the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens’ (BKMC) Green Jobs course.
Third-semester students from the English-taught Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication created impactful communication strategies for the BKMC. The goal was to raise awareness about sustainable careers and boost sign-ups for the “Your Future in Green Jobs” online course.
Green jobs for young changemakers
The project challenges students to craft innovative ideas to inspire young people to pursue green careers. Along the way, they are learning essential skills such as project management, budgeting, and teamwork – tools that will serve them well in their future careers. Anna Tykhonenko, Program Officer at the BKMC, commented the cooperation:
“The students’ creativity and energy has been incredibly inspiring. Their work captures the mission of our course to prepare individuals for impactful, sustainable careers!”
The students focused on increasing the course’s visibility and engagement. They successfully created fresh and innovative communication concepts to engage a wider audience of young people and inspire interest in green career pathways.
This project goes beyond academics, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. From brainstorming to pitching their ideas, the experience has been both personally and professionally rewarding.
