Full-time and part-time students of the Bachelor’s Program in Corporate Communication use an innovative presentation technique to raise awareness for selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as part of the module “Social Skills 1”.
In order to be able to achieve a strong and lasting impression in a short period of time, the students selected the Pecha Kucha technique of presentation. Characteristically, merely 20 (picture-only) slides are used in that method, with a display duration of only 20 seconds each. Thus, it is important to use congruent and focused verbal and visual input that develops a clear storyline that actually affects the audience. The students mastered this remarkably difficult task terrifically, creating an inspiring and emotionally touching presentation.
Congratulations for this outstanding accomplishment from the team of lecturers: Mag. Gabriele Zeiner, Mag. Bettina Siegl, Mag. Doris Göbl and FH-Prof. Mag. Dr. Gerald Kolar.
This is another step towards raising increased awareness for the SDGs within academic teaching.
