On September 30, 2020 the Alumni & Career Services again held an Alumni Talk. Gudrun Gaedke, management consultant and alumna of the Human Resources & Organization study program was the speaker of the evening.
More than 30 alumni, students and employees from FHWien der WKW accepted the invitation and learned in the talk how teamwork can succeed even when working remotely.
The participants divided into smaller groups and were able to find out that there is even a “WE” in a mixed group of people.
The management consultant, trainer and lecturer has over 15 years of management experience in business and higher education and gave valuable insights – how have companies managed to maintain a sense of “we” and team cohesion during the difficult lockdown period? She also gave tips on how we can all contribute to successful virtual collaboration in our own teams.
One of her conclusions was that despite all the challenges, we should not forget to be responsive to each other, to support each other, and above all not lose humor and joy in working together.
