The further education course at FHWien der WKW will take place from July 3–7, 2023 and is suitable for beginners and established journalists alike. Registrations are open.
Wien, May 9, 2023 – For five days at the beginning of July, everything will revolve around the dream job of sports reporter at FHWien der WKW: At the “Sports Journalism” workshop, participants will gain insights into various aspects of sports reporting and acquire know-how that they can apply immediately. The focus is on work for TV and video.
Professionals teach the most important skills for getting started in sports journalism. They share their experiences and teach the basics of sports reporting – from well-founded commentaries, the right announcer and successful outdoor shooting to the perfect report.
FHWien der WKW’s longtime journalism training experience and the bundled competence of the lecturers from the field provide professional support and guarantee an optimal learning environment.

- When: July 3–7, 2023, expected core time from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., subject to change
- Where: FHWien der WKW, Währinger Gürtel 97, 1180 Wien/Vienna
- Fee: € 490 for employed and freelance journalists* | Normal price: € 720 for all non-journalistic professions | Students and alumni* of FHWien der WKW receive a discount of 50% on the normal price (subsidies possible)

Limited number of participants – registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
The workshop will take place as a face-to-face event. If necessary, individual modules can be held online via Zoom or MS Teams, and speakers or interview partners can be connected online.
