Requirements for Master’s Programs

Admission requirements MSc Digital Technology & Innovation

Would you like to apply for the Master’s program in Digital Technology & Innovation at Austria’s leading University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication?

The admission requirements for the Master’s program in Digital Technology & Innovation are

  • Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s program at a university of applied sciences or
  • the completion of an equivalent study program at a recognized domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution.

We consider degrees at the interface of information technology and management, e.g. Bachelor’s degrees in digital business, business informatics, digital transformation, IT project management, industrial engineering and innovation management, to be relevant.

Decisions on admission in individual cases are made by the head of program. If applicants can basically prove an equivalent degree from a previous program, with only individual components missing, the Head of the Master’s program is entitled to determine full equivalence by requiring the student to take certain examinations in the course of the Master’s program. Full equivalence requires the following course content:

  • Information systems including software development and databases (at least 12 ECTS)
  • Process, project and requirements management (at least 6 ECTS)
  • General business administration, including business accounting and financing (at least 6 ECTS)
  • Information and business law (at least 6 ECTS)
