The Bachelor Professional Premium Banking program offers specialized training for highly qualified account managers and bank employees in management positions within the Raiffeisen Banking Group. The course aimes to develop specialists, that they can expand their skills, particularly in customer service and bank management.

The program focuses on the core tasks of customer service and includes the following central areas:

  1. Customer management: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, tailor-made client support and identify customer needs.
  2. Sales: Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively market internal bank products and services.
  3. Sales: Competent and strategic sales of financial products, with the focus on advice.

* Students can have institutionally validate professional and non-professional qualifications, whereby the students’ first two semesters are recognized for the corresponding achievements from the Raiffeisen training program.

 

The BPr Premium Banking is a further training course in accordance with § 9 FHG leading to the “Bachelor Professional (BPr)” qualification.

The study program

The part-time 6-semester bachelor’s degree program is being offered by FHWien der WKW in cooperation with the Raiffeisen Campus. It gives highly qualified account managers and bank employees in management positions within the Raiffeisen Banking Group the opportunity to deepen their knowledge that they have acquired through practical work. Students have the opportunity to flexibly combine their studies with their professional activities and they can also expand their skills in the areas of customer service, customer management, sales and sales control while simultaneously developing their interpersonal skills.

To ensure that apprenticeships remain attractive as one of the most important training, apprenticeship graduates in Austria will also be able to pursue academic degrees in the future.

Focus & Qualifications

In particular the university course aimes at the following target groups within the Raiffeisen sector:

  • Raiffeisen account managers from high-end private customers and corporate banking
  • Employees of Raiffeisen competence centers (e.g. housing financing, investment)
  • Raiffeisen employees in sales staff positions (sales management/sales control)

The BPr Premium Banking course of study ends with the academic title “Bachelor Professional (BPr)” after six semesters.

If you already have professional or non-professional qualifications as part of vocational training and further education at the Raiffeisen Campus, these banking training will be recognized for the 1st and 2nd semester (i.e. entry directly into the 3rd semester).

Jobs & Career

The Bachelor Professional Premium Banking study program intends to enable students to expand their banking skills and accordingly to apply the core tasks of qualitative customer service (i.e. customer management, sales and distribution) holistically at different levels in the Raiffeisen banking organization. This must be taken into account especially considering current trends and developments (including sustainability and digitalization) in banking and on the capital market, meanwhile further developing the students’ interpersonal skills.

The university course primarily focuses on:

  • High potentials in Raiffeisen banks dealing with high-end private and corporate customer business
  • Employees in Raiffeisen competence centers (including housing, investment, financing)
  • Raiffeisen employees in sales staff positions (including sales management, sales control)

Application

The university course is aimed at employees of the Raiffeisen Banking Group in high-end private and corporate customer business, in Raiffeisen competence centers or in staff position.

Target group & access requirements

The Bachelor Professional Premium Banking course of study turns to people with at least two years of relevant professional experience.

Application process

Applications are made directly via the Raiffeisen Campus. The application documents are then checked by the FHWien der WKW to ensure compliance with the admission criteria. Upon admission, the training contract is concluded directly with the Raiffeisen Campus. You will receive a template of the respective training contract directly from the Raiffeisen Campus.

Depending on bilateral agreement, the costs covered in full, in part or not by Raiffeisen.

General

  • Tax reimbursement: You can write off the tuition fees against your taxes, as long as the continuing education program is relevant or related to your current occupational field. The tax advantage depends on your total income. You could be reimbursed for up to 43.6 % of the tuition fees!
